Last week we launched the 'Ventia Super Draw', an initiative by our Local Government teams working in the Mornington Peninsula Shire and Frankston City Council regions.

The Super Draw aims to reward our local Ventia workforce while supporting local businesses during these challenging pandemic times.

Leonard Leyland, Project Manager on the Mornington Peninsula Shire contract said:

We wanted to find a way to recognise the outstanding efforts of our crews working across both Mornington Peninsula and Frankston City Council contracts, while at the same time showing our support for local businesses.

"Dan Wirth, our Senior Team Leader in Mowing came up with the idea, and Bradley Horvat, one of our talented Customer Service Officers, turned the concept into an exciting Super Draw, and brought it to life," explains Leonard.

Each week, 25 employees win various prizes totaling $750, purchased by Ventia from a selected local business.

The Pantry House, a small locally run café and deli located at Bentons Square in Mornington was selected to kick off the very first draw.

Leonard and Bradley joined The Pantry House Store Manager, Gemma and Store Supervisor, Phoebe, last Friday to conduct the draw and reveal the first 25 lucky winners.

Richard, a Tree Inspector on the Mornington Peninsula Shire contract was delighted to be one of our first winners!

The draw will continue every Monday for another seven weeks with selected local business. Additional draws will take place each Wednesday and Friday until all team members have received a prize.
