Last week we celebrated the graduation of our first cohort of 'Women in Leadership' program.
Over the past five months,15 talented women from across our business participated in the program, learning how to enhance their leadership skills, team management practices, and communication and influence strategies
Graduates were also assigned an executive sponsor to support their career and development journey beyond the program.
The program concluded last week with participants presenting their major learnings and future development actions to their peers and sponsors.
All participants said they found the program extremely worthwhile.
"The immediate impact for me has come from making connections with others across the business" said Joanne Lynch from our Sydney Water contract.
"We all face similar challenges, and it's valuable to know we can share our knowledge and benefit from each other's support."
Alanna Dibdin, Project Engineer added: "The program has been a great opportunity to connect with other women around the business and learn about ourselves and each other. The skills I have learned here, I will carry with me throughout my career."
Alexandra Floca from our nbn business said: 'The Women in Leadership program created a setting for accomplished and aspiring women leaders from a diverse range of fields to grow our networks far beyond our projects."
We're incredibly proud of our talented female leaders and the opportunity to support their future career aspirations.
