Broadspectrum's joint venture company, TW Power Services Ltd (TWPS), has been awarded a new four-year $108 million contract to operate and maintain Collie Power Station by Synergy.

Synergy is Western Australia's largest electricity generator and energy retailer. Under the new contract, TWPS will provide operations and maintenance services to the 340MW Collie Power Station which delivers power to about 90,000 homes.

Broadspectrum's Chief Executive, Urban Infrastructure, Domenic De Fazio said: 'We have been operating and maintaining Collie Power Station for almost 15 years.

'During that time, we have upgraded the power station and expanded its capacity to provide a reliable power supply to more residents and businesses in the region.

We look forward to continuing to ensure the people of Western Australia benefit from a quality asset.

TWPS is a 50/50 joint venture between Broadspectrum (Australia) Pty Ltd and WorleyParsons.
