At Ventia, nothing is more important than the safety and health of our people and the communities in which we operate.
Driving is one of the most significant contributors to workplace fatalities across Australia and New Zealand.
With a Ventia fleet of nearly 5,000 vehicles, travelling approximately 5 million kilometres per month, we are delighted to be investing in the latest In Vehicle Management System (IVMS) technology, through a partnership with EROAD.
EROAD is one of the leading telematics providers in Australia and New Zealand. Its Drive Buddy system allows real time driver coaching with in-vehicle feedback that helps to develop safer driving behaviours. This system will be an essential tool in reinforcing a safe driving culture across the organisations that keeps our people and the wider community safer on the roads.
Beginning this month, the technology will be retrofitted to upgrade our existing IVMS in our light and heavy vehicle fleet across Australia and New Zealand.
EROAD's CEO, Steven Newman said: "EROAD is pleased that Ventia has chosen to come on board as an Australian enterprise customer as well as significantly increasing the size of its New Zealand fleet utilising EROAD services. EROAD is looking forward to working in partnership with Ventia to deliver best safety outcomes."
Ventia's Group Chief Executive Officer, Dean Banks added: "Safety and health above all else is our number one priority at Ventia."
We are delighted to enter this strategic partnership with EROAD, which will enhance our ability to improve safety for our people, our clients and the communities we operate in.
