Ventia is pleased to announce the appointment of Prue Crawford-Flett to the role of Group Executive Infrastructure Services. Prue joined Ventia on October 1 and commences a transition with current Group Executive Infrastructure Services Tim Harwood who will retire at the end of 2024.

Prue brings extensive experience to Ventia and has held executive and senior leadership roles across the construction and infrastructure sectors, including more than 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at AusNet. Through her role at AusNet Prue was responsible for the Network Operations and Safety division, holding accountability for all network operations and control, delivery and customer engagement across the transmission and distribution networks. 
 
Dean Banks, Ventia’s Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer said that he was delighted to welcome Prue to Ventia’s Executive Leadership Team. 
 
“Prue has led large operational functions across growing businesses and has extensive experience delivering value for customers,” he said.

Her experience across the energy industry will be of great value to Ventia as we continue to support our customers to deliver their energy transition ambitions.

Prue said that she was excited to be joining Ventia at a time of immense opportunity.

“There is tremendous growth opportunity for us, in particular as we support our customers through the once in a generation energy transition.”

Dean also paid tribute to Tim who will leave a great legacy after 26 years with the company.  
 
“Tim has made a major contribution during his time with the company and will leave with our deep gratitude and appreciation,” Dean said 

Tim and Prue will work together in the coming months to ensure a smooth and effective transition of the Infrastructure Services portfolio.
