Ventia has been appointed by Frankston City Council to provide facilities management services for the next five years, following a new consolidated approach to how services are provided in the outer Melbourne suburb.
With over 350 buildings to support, Ventia will provide maintenance, cleaning and security services for the council facilities.
Frankston City Council CEO, Dennis Hovenden, said the new facilities management contract will deliver savings in Council's annual budget and a fresh approach to managing council's FM services.
"The new contract, awarded to Ventia for an initial term of five years, will provide improved services by bundling all of Council's requirements into the single managed contract," said Mr Hovenden.
Peter Handel, General Manager of Asset and Infrastructure Services at Ventia said, "Ventia is pleased to provide Frankston City Council and the community it serves, with an integrated approach to facilities management. We will bring our best in class technology platform to optimise the management and service delivery for Council - delivering more efficient and effective facilities management for the buildings we will support."
