This week marks a significant achievement for Ventia as we are formally acknowledged as a Veteran Employer of Choice by the Australian Government’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs.  

The Department’s Veteran Employment Program is a national initiative aimed at encouraging businesses to prioritise the employment of Veterans.

In undergoing the assessment process, Ventia proudly pledged its commitment to the cause by signing the Veteran Employment Commitment (VEC). By doing so, we publicly claim our dedication to providing opportunities for Australia’s Veterans and fostering an environment where their skills are valued and they can continue to excel in their career outside the military.

At Ventia, we recognise our people are at the heart of our success. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion has been repeatedly recognised, including most recently winning the Northern Territory Government’s Veteran Employer of the Year Award.

Ventia has further solidified its commitment to supporting Veterans this year by entering into a three-year partnership with Invictus Australia. Through this collaboration, we aim to empower military veterans and their families through sports, aligning with our broader diversity and inclusion strategy that prioritises the health, wellbeing, and engagement of our broader employee cohort.
