Our VBA JV team delivering the Road Asset Maintenance Contract (RAMC) is busy preparing for some pretty significant events this year, including the upcoming Commonwealth Games (the Games) on the Gold Coast.
To make sure we successfully deliver on these events throughout the year, the team has embarked on a leadership and cultural program called 'ONE'.
Focusing on four key elements, the team will participate in workshops designed to help them enhance their culture, energise their crews, engage better with their community and embrace change.
Our people have a deep commitment to the work they do and take great pride in supporting our client and the community they operate in. The 'ONE' initiative will help them better harness their positive attitudes, work together more effectively and maintain a strong, unified focus for the year ahead.
As part of the Games, we are contracted to deliver increased maintenance works and incident response requirements before, during and after the Games.
That's helping to keep lanes flowing freely for more than 6,600 athletes and officials from 70 Commonwealth nations and territories over the event's 11 days.
On top of this, our team has commenced a large program of improvement works across the network in the lead up to the current RAMC contract end which is scheduled to finish in December 2018.
Through the valuable engagement and enablement the RAMC team is receiving via the 'ONE' program, our focus is on achieving service excellence for our client and the local south-east Queensland community.
